For the V2Works annual summer adventure, the team slathered themselves in sun screen, donned life preservers (at least for the first 5 minutes) and set a heading up the Sammamish River Slough towards Redhook Brewery on kayaks and paddle boards. The sweltering day was definitely packed to the gunwales with laughter, sweat, splashing, and amusing absurdity as we paddled away any thoughts of the office and focused on the 10-mile round-trip excursion. Although most of us were a bit sore the next day, and a few of us were sporting sunburns and blisters, we would all definitely do it again. Here are just a few snapshots from the journey.
